AUGUST 29: Mass/Celebration/Reflection/Potluck/Roundtable Discussion

Join us Saturday August 29th for Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church (612 E Park St
Champaign, IL 61820) at 9am, followed by a light brunch at the Romero Parish Center at 9:45am. We’ll have a time of celebrating the 30 years of service of St. Jude Catholic Worker House volunteers and a time of reflection and discussion. Frank Cordaro, from the Des Moines Catholic Worker, will be facilitating this time.
At 6pm, we’ll host a community potluck followed by a roundtable discussion (7pm) at St. Jude Catholic Worker (317 S. Randolph St.). Bring some food and join us as Frank Cordaro talks about political resistance as an element of the Catholic Worker Movement.
